MAYDAY!

Read this article.

This is the audiotape to which the article refers:

I leave this here without comment for the readers. What do you think?

  1. Evidence suggests. Evidence suggests.

Yep, evidence suggests that Americans have not landed on the moon, too.

  2. Obviously this asshole is trying to get as many people together to refuse to honor the legal contracts into which they freely entered, pretending that those who would be defaulting on thier debts are somehow victims. That he was concerned about the possibility of cops in the room suggests he's aware he is at least pushing the envelope of legal activity. Perhaps a look at his plans in light of the Rico Act might be a good idea, or possibly any law having to do with sedition as he is lookiong to incite activity that will negatively impact our economy.

  3. The video/audio recording was posted at The Blaze, a blog created by Glenn Beck.

While I agree with most of what Becks says, my personal opinion of Glenn Beck is he's something of a snake oil salesman. I get the impression that if he thought he could make more money as a Liberal, he'd be a Liberal, but I could be wrong. He embraces many conspiracy theories which make him appear to be an extremist.

Nevertheless, the video/audio posted appears to be genuine. An intentional attempt to destroy our economic system from within would certainly seem to be valid possibility, if there is indeed validity to this article.

The article was written by Dr. Alan Keyes, also a bit more of a right wing extremist for my taste. If he were President, I'm quite sure he would attempt to legislate morality, which would, unfortunately, in spite of all good intentions, violate our personal rights.

That said, If Alan Keyes was running for President against Barack Hussein Obama, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the lever for Keyes. And, if allowed, I'd pull it continually all day long.

So, I take this information with a grain of salt. I tend to think this country is too big to fall apart because one corporation in New York city is ruined. But it is something to think about. If this is true, would our resident Liberals, Jim and Bent, etc, continue to support Obama, and his progressive Marxist buddies when they are left out of work and begging for crumbs as a result of the economic collapse caused wholly by the administrations Marxist policies?

  4. Mark, history is replete with examples of fantastic conspiracy which later proved to be true. You need only look to the prophets for example. That's not to say, however, that I equate the conspiracies of today to the prophecies of old, but... just because it sounds outlandish and impossible doesn't mean it's not happening. "Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get me."

Glenn Beck? He's a bit wacky; his methodology, not his conclusions... he LOOKS wacky. But folk who poo-poo the message because the messenger sounds crazy are the bigger fools.

There is a movement afoot that seeks to force the nations of the world into a one-world government. What things might you expect this 'movement' to do to realize its goal?

Of course I've posted this comment having not seen the video yet... but I'm merely addressing the comments at this point. Like the first comment from Jim:

Sorry Jimbo, but there's NO credible evidence that suggests we didn't land on the moon. I mean, you'd pretty much have to be a kook, a la Glenn Beck, to believe we didn't.

  5. Okay... having read and viewed, I wonder why Mark has any problem with this. If it's simply because the origination of the video comes from a 'Beck group,' or Beck himself, then I'm perplexed that Mark would discount it outright based simply on that. Have we not been discussing this very topic, lo, these past two years? Obama's desire to tear America down only build it again in his ideological image?

Alan Keyes? Because he puts his money where his mouth is in terms of his faith? Don't we criticize men all the time because they call themselves Christian, but act completely contrary to that profession? Like Barack Obama?

If you can't see that there are forces out to destroy this country, and if you can't believe it because men like Beck, and Keyes, champion the notion, then nothing I say will convince you.

But just remember: there was a time not too long ago when Mark, Marshall, and myself, spoke openly about the Cloward & Piven strategy and the depraved mindset that would even pen such a strategy down. We can talk Cloward & Piven as though it were a real threat but we can't accept the warning of a new threat against American sovereignty because it comes from voices on our side of the aisle?

What's wrong with this picture? Are we all become Obama supporters now? Because Glenn Beck provides evidence of his culpability in another grand scheme to take over the world? It's crazy! It's a cartoon! How can anyone take a cartoon seriously!?

Pinky: "Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"

The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky — try to take over the world!"

  6. "He embraces many conspiracy theories which make him appear to be an extremist."

To whom does he appear extreme other than you? The Left? Are the Left truly ignorant of what's going on in their party, in their name, for their supposed benefit and the benefit of ALL? Or are they, as Lenin is purported to have said, 'Useful Idiots'?

I submit that the more senseless an idea appears to any given individual, the harder it is to believe it's true. Glenn Beck doesn't just throw out charges and hopes something sticks, like jelly thrown at the wall. But he is a man. And men are prone to mistakes.

I believe, however, that Beck is closer to the truth than many realize. Should none of these so-called 'conspiracy theories' come to pass, it doesn't mean the conspiracies weren't real. Think about it.

  7. You're tilting at windmills, Eric. I never said I discount anything either Beck or Keyes says, I just take it with a grain of salt.

I prefer to be optimistic about America's future, trusting in God to sustain us though whatever Godless agenda Obama has in store for us.

  8. Sorry to have waxed Quixotic on you, Mark. But trusting in God means accepting what's happening as being in His hands. Some Jews I've spoken with claim that there remains a mere 200 years before Mashiach comes... well, I have to wonder if the world, if left unchecked, can survive another 200 years.

If God isn't returning soon, then America has time to repent and once again enjoy the blessings of God-- like Nineveh after Jonah took his lumps. But if, however, He truly is 'at the door' and could come at any moment... does anyone wonder why America is not mentioned in end-time prophecy? Has she collapsed economically? Has she ceased to be a nation? Has she broken into smaller nations? Or has she been divvied up among other the other nations? Nineveh lasted another 150 years after Jonah did his duty. Seriously, ask yourself: why is America in the shape it's in, and does anyone or any group have a vested interest in wishing to see America fall?

If it is God's intention to get us through Obama's 'godless agenda' then it would be imprudent to not ask 'just what is God's agenda?' To answer that, one need only look at the back of the book.

    The picture ain't pretty.

I think we're past the time wherein we can take anyones message of warning 'with a grain of salt.' If you think about it, that's why we're in this mess in the first place...

We took, with a grain of salt:

--that a man as inexperienced and radical as Obama could ever get elected

--that politicians would never be so obtuse as to think an increase in spending as our way out of debt was a good idea

--that the Obamacare could never pass

Forgive me for saying so, Mark, but while I admire your faith, it's just that attitude that has allowed this country to sink as far as it has. I think it's time to stop assuming that anyone who warns of conspiracies is coo-coo for cocoa puffs. I'm sure everyone thought Noah was a kook too... until the door was shut and the rains fell... and fell... and fell... and fell...

  9. "Obama's 'godless agenda'"

    What would that be?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Well, according to Mark it's "whatever ... Obama has in store for us."

I wouldn't call Obama 'godless,' but by many signs and proofs he does appear to be 'Godless.' And any plan, in that light, can't be good.
