CBS News is conducting an online poll, open to any passerby. Me, for instance... or you. Would you care to Grade Obama's First Year in Office? I thought so.
After you've taken the poll, make sure you take a gander at the current results. Were Obama to get a look at them this moment he wouldn't be happy. But then he'd also know that this is hardly a scientific poll. And as it's ongoing, there's no telling where the numbers will end up. But for now, he is the loser we all know him to be.

Your First Amendment right to free speech is a privilege and comes with a measure of responsibility. You have the right to exercise that responsibility here but we reserve the right to inform you when you've used that right irresponsibly.

It would be nice to see a running tally of respondents. Did I miss that somewhere?
ReplyDeleteSorry, but the non-scientific poll doesn't list a running total of votes. However, as of my posting this comment Obama has received high percentage F's (failing grades) on the following: (except for Afghanistan and Iraq)

Health Care: 78.67%
Afghanistan: 31.93% (next highest % is a C @ 25.96)
Iraq: 36.96% (next highest % is a C @ 24.39%)
Threat of Terrorism: 57.52%
Energy & Environment: 55.04%
Social Issues: 58.84%
Bipartisanship: 78.2%
Overall Job as President: An F at 63.76%
I think that his recent hiring of General Petraeus was the only correct decision he's made sine attaining the Presidency. I even gave him a "C" on that one, but straight "F's" for everything else, and I'll bet that's why he scores higher in that category.
