Look, all's well that ends well, but I don't think we should have waited 5 days.. we were lucky that they didn't kill the good Captain by then
ReplyDeleteTrue. Obama should have acted more quickly. His "slow" response to this situation could have had disastrous results. Fortune, however, was on his side... this time. But again, as you say, all's well that ends well. And Obama did well. He could have done better, but he deserves some credit for the success of this operation.

Besides, the ship was taken on Wednesday and Obama ordered the Navy to take whatever action necessary on Friday and reiterated on Saturday. The fact that the events ended Sunday was the Navy's call.
