On my fundraising rounds last night, I came across a woman (an Obama supporter) who had worked in the Clinton administration and for the department of Agriculture under Secretary of Agriculture, Dan Glickman (D) Kansas.
ReplyDeleteI told her I met Glickman years ago when he was first running for Representative. His Chief of Staff was my Speech teacher in College.
When she told me Glickman is now head of the Motion Pictures Association of America, I jokingly suggested Obama might bring him back as part of his cabinet because he is bringing back all the other Clintonites.
She said Obama was making a huge mistake by placing former Clintonoids in his cabinet.
I asked why, and she said one word. "Change" She said he ran on a platform of change, but stocking his cabinet with ex Clinton staffers isn't change. Remember, this didn't come from a Conservative. It came from someone who actually worked for Clinton. She also said she thought Clinton was a great president because he made sure his people were a diverse group.
Then she must love George who did the same.
