Dollar Will Be Utterly Destroyed.... ?

Any thoughts? Can't brush this one off... it's CNBC for crying out loud!

Anyone have ANY perspective on the "potential" collapse of the US Dollar?

  1. Yeah. I don't think it's "potential" anymore. With the games being played by the Fed Reserve and the constant printing of money to buy back debt and pay off loans and on and on, the dollar isn't worth crap. When other countries are seriously considering no longer using our dollar as the standard, that sounds like it's pretty well destroyed already.

  2. I don't know much about economics. What I do know is I am making in two weeks what I used to make in one, and what I do make buys much less than what it used to.

The dollar may have some value left, but it doesn't have much value when I have to use it.

    Uh...didn't the Bible predict this?

  3. "...didn't the Bible predict this?"

kinda sorta. It did, but as an event within the time-frame of the Tribulation. What worries many today is the threat of hyper-inflation like what happened during the closing days of the Weimar Republic. Nasty stuff, that. We don't want to go there.

Realistically though, Europe is about to be unified as one large country. The Czech Republic is the last member nation left to sign. They've gotten all their concessions, attention, and the President says he will sign. All that remains if for their parliament to approve... and no one doubts they will. What we will then have is a Unified Nation called Europe... using one currency, with its own standing army, its own governing council and its own PERMANENT president. Believe it or not, but Tony Blair is at the top of the list to be the Permanent President of the EU. All those nations will lose national sovereignty, and will become, in time, like in the US... member states to a larger federal entity. They will have state rights under the charter they've all signed, but they will lose their national sovereignty... their identity as a distinct nation.

I only point this out because you mentioned a prediction in the Bible. The US is not mentioned in end-time prophecy. The US then, it would appear, must be of lesser significance on the world stage during the events of the Tribulation. Europe is in ascendancy. It only makes sense therefore that the US should, at some point, begin to slide from its position at the top, and economics seems the most logical way of that happening.

Also. There is building another Union of Mediterranean states. This will eventually fold into the EU, and give the world what prophecy describes as a revived roman empire... the final world empire. And another bit of news which speaks to that are the plans, already drafted, to fold the entire world into the EU, creating a world government, and dividing the world into 10 manageable governed regions... ten "kingdoms" if you will. This would fulfill a key portion of Daniel's prophecy.

I know, I know... Crazy, right?

But how many puzzle pieces have to fall into place before the pattern becomes recognizable to all but the willfully blind/ignorant?

No one has to believe me on this. I don't expect it. But just because you don't believe in the Law of Gravity, doesn't mean you won't become a greasy spot should leap from the Empire State Building.

Same thing here. The evidence is staring the world in the face... just like Gravity. You may think you can fly like a bird, but the evidence says different.

  4. I'm quite afraid that gentleman is correct. I watched the man on Fox News. And still, despite this, Washington will ramrod through two new massive bills that will completely defeat our economy: ObamaKare and CapNTax.

I fervently believe it is the Left's enabling of the Cloward-Piven Strategy, in which the ENTIRE country must be brought down, completely and utterly demolished, in order to establish a Leftist/Socialist agenda.

THAT is, in my opinion, the overarching agenda.

    Thank you, Saul Alinsky.
