Obama's First Step Toward Communism

Now, Barack Hussein Obama has announced his plans to take over the auto industry. His plan is overt Socialism. In fact, it is the definition of Socialism.

According to a Reuters story, "General Motors Corp's (GM.N) plan for a bankruptcy filing involves a quick sale of the company's healthy assets to a new company initially owned by the U.S. government."

Do you get that? Owned by the U.S. Government!

The definition of Socialism, according to the dictionary, is "a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole."

It goes on to say, "(in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles".

If any of my readers don't know why Socialism is undesirable, go back and read my History of Communism.

Normally, news articles quoting anonymous sources are suspect in my opinion, so I will qualify my remarks with this statement:

If this story is accurate, Obama is implementing his nefarious plan to socialize the United States before our eyes. He needs to be stopped.

Yes, it's true that the rest of the article points out that the ownership of GM by the U.S. Government is only temporary, but really, who is Obama kidding?

Anyone who thinks the Government, under Obama will eventually relinquish control of GM back to private ownership is delusional.

This is only the beginning of Obama's plan to change The United Sates of America into the United Socialist States of America.

There will be more. Much more.

And remember. I warned you.

You know that every month the FDIC takes ownership and control of failed banks right? Then they sell the profitable parts back into the private market. How is the GM deal different from what we do with failed banks? Have we been communists since the 1980's?

Or better yet where's the news article saying that the Obama administration is nationalizing ALL the rest of the means of production. It'd be pretty hard to find even one country that didn't have some sort of interest or ownership in at least one industry. Socialism and communism advocates the state ownership of ALL means of production.

  3. God forbid anything should happen to Barack Obama-- we'd end up with Joe Biden, putting Nancy Pelosi in the Vice President's chair. Let's all pray nothing happens to Obama that would put Biden on the throne.

Yes god forbid this unknown man with radical policy ideals who's been reelected by his constituents six times should be president!

    [end sarcasm]

First, Is that a question? Because usually questions are followed by a question mark, so it's kind of hard to tell if you are asking or making a statement.

Second, the words "First step toward Communism" would seem to indicate he hasn't quite got to the point of Nationalizing All production, yet. But he will.

  6. Feo, I don't owe you an explanation.

Figure it out. Use that superior intellect you're always bragging about.

Ah, now I get it. You're right, I figured it out.

  9. BenT, Yes, we have been slowly shifting toward Communism since at least the 1980's. As a matter of fact, the shift has been in motion since the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, and was accelerated drastically by F.D.R., and then again by L.B.J.

    But you knew that already...

    What was your argument again?

Or was that supposed to be sarcasm?

Feodor, Mark can post whatever he wants at either of these blogs. If you cannot find anything wrong with his point, why don't you leave him alone?

Do you simply have some need to pester him for no real reason?

Is that the high point of your day?

  10. I didn't say he couldn't post what he wanted, did I?

    No.

I didn't say anything necessary bad about what he posted, did I?

    No.

I just asked why he was repeating himself and he didn't even have an answer for that, reflecting perhaps the seriousness which any one can engage with the writer of this very un-serious post.

  11. And I hang my head and readily admit that this is the low point of my day.

Or, rather, the high point of my low intentions.

Which isn't so bad considering how close to Wall Street I live.

  12. YOU warned everyone and I warned everyone.

With this end in mind: in order to completely REMAKE our society.

He wants to crush everyone into small urban areas and cities, crush us into high-rises with small apartments, remove our automobiles and crush us into public transportation, and generally increase our reliance on government whilst increasing regulations, increasing taxes, reducing freedoms and reducing your ability and my ability to be independent.

So for what is this a wonderful recipe? A wonderful recipe for killing us all SOONER by way of biologics, chemicals, nuclear devices -- our population concentration being ever EASIER to target, killing MORE people in a SMALLER area.

Think about THAT for a moment.

Psychiatry, rough early science that it is, still has the best answers for this kind of crazy.

Your First Amendment right to free speech is a privilege and comes with a measure of responsibility. You have the right to exercise that responsibility here but we reserve the right to inform you when you've used that right irresponsibly.

We are benevolent dictators in this regard. Enjoy.
