Well, That's All I Needed To Hear...

"Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs." - Nancy Pelosi

Well, then... I'm convinced.

We obviously need to give a Gajillion Bazillion dollars to ACORN and NARAL as soon as possible!

Good grief!

  2. LOL! Yes, I laughed when I heard that one. She obviously made a verbal typo. She routinely demonstrates the reasons she sits atop the Democratic cake... and why it sits so heavy on the stomach. She and her party are the source of this national outbreak of political salmonella.

Wish I could remember who said it, but I echo the sentiment: America should secede from California!

  3. Maybe she's talking about all those "other-than-Americans" currently living in the United States. You know, the ones that usually have more than one job but don't pay taxes because they are paid in cash under the table because they are what Democrats call, "undocumented".

Or maybe she's talking about all Americans including retired, disabled, and babies. Or maybe she's including Americans that live overseas, or maybe....naw, that still doesn't compute.

  4. There's not 500 million living in the United States, so... we're ALL out of a job at the end of the month. Every last mother one of us... except the politicians.

  5. I think that, in your mockery, you're missing the most salient point, which Mark Steyn highlighted yesterday:

If we do nothing, SIX BILLION AMERICANS will lose their jobs by the end of the year.

At that point, even a trillion dollars in straight income redistribution would only amount to $170 for every American, so this is why we have to support Obama's stimulus plan now.

  6. In all fairness, this tower of brilliance was corrected by an interviewer and apologized for her excellent mistake, saying she meant 500,000. Of course, I don't believe that number, either. Anyone see the stats on current new monthly unemployment claims?

  8. Eric that is the unemployment rate. That doesn't include all those who have part time jobs which don't pay them enough to live on or those who have multiple jobs that pay more than enough to live on. It only applies to the number of people who have applied for unemployment compensation or signed up with the employment office as unemployed. Many of those who the government claims are unemployed have a job of some kind already, but choose not to reveal it to the Government, such as "undocumented workers", also known as illegal aliens.

Usually, unemployment statistics don't take these things into account.

  10. We are witnessing the beginning of the end of freedom and liberty in this country. The Marxists have taken over. We are doomed.

Well don't let the door hit you on the way out. Nobody's forcing you to visit. Your act is old now anyhow. Feel free to return when you think you have something substantive to say.

    (That should keep him busy)
