Visit the Website, How Obama Got Elected.

  1. First, as tbogg notes quite well, the ignorance, not to mention bigotry, on display at Palin rallies during the campaign was cataloged quite thoroughly, and is far more serious and scary than anything you could put up.

Second, How did Obama win the election? Why, he received more popular votes and more Electoral Votes than John McCain. That's how.

  2. Real good, Geoffrey. Now answer this: what's two pus two?

The point is why he got more votes, how it is that people came to believe that Obama was the better choice (Bwahahahaha!).

It is important to keep in mind that the person who put out this little gem stated on Hannity and Colmes (last night) that he went out of his way to find supporters that were not troglydytes, but supposedly educated and informed people. Can we find similar misinformed people on the right? Well, each side certainly has it's idiots, those who don't pay attention and vote by reflex, but I'd wager you'd find substantially fewer people on the right having as much trouble with these questions. Why would that be? Because we don't listen to only one source as the lefties like you like to believe, and we actually study the issues and the people driving them. Far fewer KoolAid drinkers here on the right.

Tbogg, huh? Later perhaps. I've no doubt what I'll find.

  3. BTW, I'd like to give props to that girl wearing pink and glasses. She seems to be the most honest as far as admitting how uninformed she is. That takes something special. Too bad it's not enough to make her change her vote. It would be great to find her and ask if she did by the time she got in the booth.

  5. Are you suggesting they put words into the mouths of guests? Are you once again disparaging the source of the info in a lame attempt to obfuscate the message? Get some sack, boy. It doesn't matter where the guy appeared.

  6. So now we Conservatives know how to win the next election. Pay the media not to cover us.

  7. Geoffrey, I used to think you were very intelligent. But lately, with statements like, "the ignorance, not to mention bigotry, on display at Palin rallies during the campaign was cataloged quite thoroughly", among many, many others, ripped directly from the pages of Daily Kos and Democratic Underground, etc, I've come to realize you are not very smart at all. Instead, you swallow every lie and misrepresented statement made by the above web sites without even considering doing the requisite research to determine if the statements made have any truth to them at all.

Now, I will steal your buddy Dan's tactics by insisting you produce citation of ignorance and bigotry at Plain's rallies. I was at one, myself. I didn't see any ignorance or bigotry on display.

So c'mon, Geoffrey, put up or shut up.

Your First Amendment right to free speech is a privilege and comes with a measure of responsibility. You have the right to exercise that responsibility here but we reserve the right to inform you when you've used that right irresponsibly.

We are benevolent dictators in this regard. Enjoy.
