More Reasons Why

This insightful column gives yet more actual reasons why Obama won. Note there is little having to do with his policies. This is the case because despite the rantings of some who visit here and at our other blogs, real consideration of the policy differences were of less than secondary concern to the faithful followers of the messiah. I think we can safely say that the #1 reason Obama won is because he's not Bush. It doesn't matter whether or not their hatred for Bush is based on reality, which it isn't. It is based on the same empty rhetoric that the left has thrown Bush's way since he legally and legitimately won the presidency over the woeful loser, AlGore. The linked piece breaks it down to a particular segment of the population, the indoctrinated youth of America.

  1. Since the youth vote represented just a small portion of the total vote, I really don't see the relevance. As for the American Thinker - please. If it were a print publication, I wouldn't blow my nose on it.

I do wonder, though, why it is the right keeps calling Obama "messiah". No one on the left does. Do you believe, in your heart of hearts that he, in fact, is?

So much BS, so little time . . .

  2. Blowing smoke again, Geoffrey? The point of the article, which you always seem to miss, is how support for Obama had so little to do with actual policy positions and more to do with propaganda and rhetoric that elevated his persona in the minds of his constituents. However, a truly informed youth vote, singles vote, and such, would have tightened an already tight race and possible tip it to the better candidate, or at least the less troubling one.

As to the messiah crack, you always believe what you prefer to believe and that's your right. But Oprah's worshipping as well as Obama's own words "when the oceans stopped rising" contributes to the fun of labeling Obama and his sheep in such a manner.

So exactly what do you have in mind for all the BS your side is putting forth? Time may indeed be running low.

  3. I missed nothing because I didn't read the article. You see, I have no interest in the fact-free ramblings of people who "write" for so misnamed a web-periodical as "American Thinker".

See, I consider sources. I have considered AT in the past, and refuse to lose precious minutes of my life, and brain cells collating and collecting, information from a source as demented as that.

  4. Oh yes, Geoffrey. The unsupported charges of racism with which you paste AT. I recall. And the charges of poor writing style. Yeah, that's worthy of dismissal. Far better to rip on the source rather than the points made by the source. You're such a wuss. And a dishonest one at that.

  5. Yeah, I see your point, Geoffrey.

You'd better preserve as many brain cells as you possibly can.

  6. " I think we can safely say that the #1 reason Obama won is because he's not Bush."

Wrong. He won becausae he's black. Blacks voted for him because he's black. Whites voted for him because they are racked with white guilt.

  7. WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE!?!?

    Barack Obama is BLACK?

    Why didn't someone TELL me?

Oh, my word... This is worse than I thought!
